We had an exceptional dining experience at The Ivy Kensington. The elegant ambiance and exquisitely presented dishes were of the highest standard. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Merriam for her impeccable service—attentive, gracious, and truly welcoming. The surprise dessert at the conclusion of the meal was a delightful finishing touch. I highly recommend The Ivy for an unforgettable and refined occasion.

The food at the Ivy was great - especially their bomb dessert. They did seem to be a bit understaffed as we were left waiting for quite some time after we finished our food before we could flag someone down to pay.

Decent little spot in Kensington, I think the highlight for me was when someone I was with ordered iced tea and they brought them a cup of ice water with a tea bag in it. Needless to say after about 30 minutes it was a slightly brown cup of ice water. They did eventually come back and give them some hot tea and a cup of ice but really it was hilarious. I really liked the sourdough bread, my tuna was fine but the peas were just so so. I guess I'd say service was pretty good, although the tea thing and a few other interactions did make me wonder if they were taking the piss with us.

The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is always bustling with people—definitely book in advance if you want a proper table. We dropped by in the afternoon for a small meal and some drinks. The interior is charming and vibrant, filled with flowers, golden details, and that signature Ivy style. It’s a lively spot, though a bit on the loud side due to how busy it gets. Since we didn’t reserve, we were seated at the bar, but the experience was still enjoyable. Drinks were lovely and the food was good, perfect for a quick but elevated afternoon break. If you’re in Kensington and looking for a glamorous yet casual spot, The Ivy is a solid pick.

I loved the ambience of this place. It was so welcoming with the people and the vibe and such beautiful decor and lighting creating a perfect atmosphere. All the staff were really lovely and attentive. And that’s before I mention the food. Everything was absolutely lip smackinly gorgeous. Yum yum! I particularly enjoyed the Robata chicken skewers which were cooked to Perfection and bursting with flavour And Smit our host was brilliant, and added a personal touch to our visit, thank you All in all a fantastic dining experience. My only other comment / recommendation is about the cutlery, although looked quite fancy was quite lightweight in what you would expect for somewhere so upmarket.
